As much as I can believe it’s almost September (where has the year gone?!), I’m READY for fall. Not that it will feel like fall anytime soon, but that won’t stop me from acting like it.
Anyway, thought I’d do a little summer recap / Texas life update.
While our summer wasn’t filled with magical vacations to far away lands, it was FULL of new experiences and discoveries in our new city.
Here’s a recap:
went to a rodeo
took many morning walks on the katy trail
drank so many matcha lattes from la la land
tried lots of new-to-us restaurants
enjoyed many cozy days and nights at home too
had a visit from zack’s brother
made some new friends
experienced the texas heat
and after what felt like so many hours of job hunting and interviews and projects…
i landed a new job!
Quite a whirlwind. While the days of freelancing were fun – I’m looking forward to having a little more routine and structure again! And a consistent paycheck doesn’t hurt either! (Don’t worry – sincerelee studios is still alive and well!)
Here’s to a new season full of even more new adventures!
