With good timing, the right weather, and a little luck, you might be fortunate enough to experience the Antelope Valley super bloom.
We were lucky enough to see it twice (2017 and 2020) – however the poppy bloom in 2017 was a unreal.
It’s around a 1 hour drive from Los Angeles, and I recommend checking their website or Facebook page for bloom updates.

I live in nearby Frazier Park and was in the Antelope Valley last weekend — poppies not prolific yet — but the conditions for this year look promising!!! :)) Dawn
